| Since 1928 Restaurant Colomber has been serving
local specialities accompanied by well chosen local wines. The
simple homely cuisine is prepared by using entirely local produced
fair. The olive oil, churred hams and meats, local cheese, vegetables
are all extremely carefully selected. |
| Particular attention is devoted to the preparation
of spiedo,
a traditional “kebab” dish unique to valleys of
the Brescia Province made with pork, rabbit, chicken, herbs
and potatoes. Cooking time takes over 4 hours as the succulent
meat slowly turns over hot coals. Spiedo is to be eaten with
polenta |
| Other favourite dishes are: stewed venison
and wild mushrooms from the woods around our hotel, Ravioli
filled with cheese produces in the mountains above Lake Garda,
fresh tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and wild boar ragu.
In summer experience our cool outdoor seating terrace with wonderful
views of green pastures and of Mount Pizzocolo. |
| Restaurant Colomber can offer banqueting services
in keeping with local customs and traditions, we cater for up
to 200 guests. The hospitality and warm welcome given by our
